Trevor Day School is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Middle and Upper School Assistant Director of Admissions. This is a twelve-month (full-time) or ten-month (part-time), in-person position beginning July 1, 2024. 

Primary responsibilities include engaging in all aspects of admissions operations for Middle and Upper School in order to advance Trevor Day School’s mission. 

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of admissions experience, preferably in an independent Middle and Upper School and have an interest in being involved in school-wide committees and activities. Bachelor’s degree required, classroom experience preferred. 

In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • proficient with technology including databases, spreadsheets, and online application platforms

  • exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • commitment to confidentiality and good judgment on sensitive matters

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the coordination and event planning for recruitment events – Open Houses, Interviews, Campus Tours, Revisit days, etc.

  • Conduct tours and interviews, read and evaluate applications, and serve as a member of the Admissions Committee

  • Communicate with applicants throughout the admissions process regarding missing application materials and other application-related topics via email and phone

  • Perform other relevant duties as needed and assigned

  • Must be available to work weekend and evening hours, as needed

The salary range for this position is $50,000–$90,000. When extending an offer for employment, Trevor Day School bases the salary upon several factors that include (but are not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education, training, key skills, and peer salary equity.
